With a background in education and case management with individuals with disabilities I have seen firsthand what comfort and happiness pets can bring. However, I was never a pet person, until I hit a dark time in my life. When I met Simba and Saint (a rescue) I was actually very scared of them, but it’s like they knew just what I needed and were loving and comforting to me and I realized just how special a connection it was. They opened my heart to pet ownership and from then it grew. I realized how much I want to play a special part in bringing this joy to others as well as making sure these special creations are taken care of. At S&S we will treat your pet as not just another animal but as family.

Over the years I have had the pleasure of owning, fostering, and training many animals. Each one of them was special and stayed in my heart. My own boys Simba, Saint, and cat Loso helped me through some of the toughest times in my life. The joys, companionship, and purpose I received throughout these years is something that I can’t wait to share with the world. I believe animals enrich lives and at S&S we hope to enrich as many lives as possible.
